Sydney Swans Season Preview

Sydney SwansSydney missed the finals for the first time since 2002 last year and will be keen to return to September action in what will be coach Paul Roos’ last year in charge. The Swans have no glaring weaknesses.

Their backline, ruck division and midfield are all solid without being spectacular while the forward line is multi-pronged with former Brisbane Lion Daniel Bradshaw, Jesse White and dual Brownlow medallist to be supported by the likes of ex-Hawk Ben McGylnn and exciting youngsters Lewis Jetta and Gary Rohan who both impressed during the pre-season competition.

Conclusion

Despite their evenness across the park, Sydney will fall short of earning a finals berth given the quality of the other sides challenging for a place in the top eight.
