West Coast Eagles Season Preview

West Coast EaglesThe Eagles finished 2009 on a positive note, winning four of their last five games. The emergence of young midfielders Chris Masten, Brad Ebert, Tom Swift and co. will take the pressure off Daniel Kerr while Dean Cox will be supported in the ruck by excitement machine Nic Naitanui.

The forward line is in the best shape it has been for several years with small forward Mark LeCras and centre-half forward Josh Kennedy the keys.

Conclusion

There is plenty to like about the Eagles but one major problem they had last year which reared its head again during the pre-season competition was that they allowed the opposition to get a run on. If they can rectify this problem they should win the majority of their games at Subiaco Oval and pinch a couple away from home to scrape into the top eight. They represent good value at $3.30 to make the finals.
