Greyhound racing is a fast and exciting form of racing which has a cult following here in Australia. It is one of three forms of racing here in the country and it’s appeal is that most races are held during the night and races are very fast, with each race usually over within half a minute.

Racing is held all over Australia and while it doesn’t have as big a following as thoroughbred racing, and even harness racing, it does still generate plenty of interest, particularly with acute punters. As there are only a maximum of only eight dogs per race, it is easier to predict winners rather than the other two forms, and this is where you can make some good money if you follow the sport closely.
